Mrs. Godrey Ogbechie, an accomplished professional currently serves as the Group Executive Director at Rainoil Limited. She graduated with a degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Calabar, Nigeria, has a master’s degree in business administration and is an alumna of the Lagos Business School Senior Management Program (SMP).

She led a successful career as a Banker and Human Resource Expert in the Banking Sector spanning over 19 years, where she played a notable role in the 2005 Nigeria Banking Industry consolidation as the Head of Human Resources in the Fidelity, FSB, and Manny Bank Merger Team.

Mrs. Ogbechie joined Rainoil Limited in 2009 as an Executive Director, and brought onboard her expertise in Human Resource Management, Operations Management, Customer Service/Relationship Management, and Audit Operations. Amongst several crucial roles undertaken, she established robust systems and controls across the Group’s operations. Under her supervision as Group Executive Director, and a key member of the Executive Leadership, Rainoil Limited has thrived and achieved significant expansion with respect to the growth of the Group’s business operations across the entire downstream value chain, foraged into the upstream business and has several other investments including investments in agriculture, shipping and real estate.

Mrs. Ogbechie is also the Managing Director/CEO of Norsworthy Farms & Agro-Allied Industries Limited, seats as Director on the Board of Eterna Plc, Norsworthy Investments Limited, and Women in Energy Network where she holds the position of Vice-President, Midstream & Downstream Group. She is a Life Member of Women in Management, Business and Public Service (WIMBIZ), and the Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered), the Chartered Institute of Directors and The Petroleum Club Lagos.

Actively involved in CSR and humanitarian initiatives, she is passionate about people development especially childhood education she has through the Gabriel Ogbechie Foundation built and donated blocks of classrooms to schools in communities, and empowered private teaching support for staff and students in underserved communities.

Married to Dr. Gabriel Ogbechie (OON), they are blessed with children.
