Dr. Soibi Godwin-Clark is a Barrister at Law, Legal Consultant, Doctoral Legal Researcher and a Strategic management expert. She graduated from the University of Buckingham, U.K with a second-class upper degree in Law, obtained an LLM (International Business Law) from the prestigious Kings College London, U.K. and holds a doctorate degree in Law from Queens University, Belfast, United Kingdom.

Soibi, has over 15 years’ experience at Board and Senior management level, and over 25 years Professional work experience in various sectors including the corporate private sector, public sector, educational sector, private sector and with non-governmental organisations, where she provided legal and business expertise and consultancy services in numerous capacities including Oil & Gas, Corporate Law, Venture Capital, Private Legal Practise, Pensions and Education.

She has functioned at various times in different capacities, as Executive Director, General Manager, Consulting Partner, Director Projects & Legal, Group-Head Corporate Services, Acting Corporate Counsel, Contract Manager, Head Solicitors Department, Doctoral Researcher, In-house Counsel, and Litigation Counsel providing legal and business expertise and advising on projects and contracts in excess of £300M GBP and on investments worth several billions of Naira. She is skilled in people management, having overseen over 50 – 80 staff in multiple roles, providing mentoring, professional development and overall line management. She is also a committed CSR practitioner, and has overseen key CSR initiatives including the under listed amongst others:

Contractual review, renegotiation and revamping of a project for MTN Foundation resulting in the re-launch of a Nationwide Telephony Project tagged RTP 3000 which won National & International awards.

Contractual negotiations, strategy, co-ordination, successful launch and implementation of the MLP Telephony projects in conjunction with Visafone Nigeria and the oice of the then First Lady of Kwara State.

Visioner and superintends an annual program ‘#4GODSOLOVEDTHEWORLD’ which began in February 2022 and consistently caters for the underprivileged in society by providing them with food and relief materials.

Soibi is a member of the CMI UK, The Nigerian Bar Association, Women in Energy Network and The Petroleum Club Lagos. She is the author of several legal publications and other works yet to be released for publication. She is a certified Chaplain and Life Class Coach. She volunteers as legal adviser to Asriel Angel Care Centre for children with special needs.

She joined Rainoil in January 2024 as  Executive Director, Brace Foundation and Gabriel Ogbechie Foundation.

She is married to Mr. Godwin Clark, and they are blessed with children.
